Apologies I was browsing and saw the comment , I thought it was very distasteful and un nessessary , I reacted before I noticed the date but this bares no impact on the righteousness of my comment , I'm surprised nobody else made an open complaint at the time, isn't this what forums are about, helping each other and those new to Land Rover .
All this sort of snide bitchiness produces is a clique

There is another leak source.

Behind the passenger compartment fusebox at the base of the windscreen is a body seam joint that is sealed by putty, not by welding.

From the outside you have to get the side trim off the windscreen to be able to see down the hole.

I cleaned out the hardened putty and then filled the cavity with white Sikaflex 221.

Hasn't leaked since, that was Oct 2012.

Thankfully I had nothing but great help from the people on this forum. The length people go through to give someone support is unbelievable
My Disco wouldn't start and the members on this forum went step by step through the diagnostics steps with me to solve it.

Common cause of this is aircon drains blocking. This will show as wet, sometimes hot patch on the gearbox tunnel. The drains go down either side of the gearbox and have something that is supposed to keep the dust out. However, the water and the dust become mud and block the pipe. It's an easy, but messy fix, and you WILL end up with a sleeve full of water! Let me know if you want full instructions.
Cheers!
Hi Graham. I also have this problem , could you message me with instructions to fix. Thanks in advance.

If it's not your air-con, you have a rust hole that lets water in ... if you're lucky there will be another in the floor to let it out again ....
