I hope not. My thoughts on mine rusting in that area are that the bulkhead soundproofing trapped water right down in the corner of the engine bay where the loom comes through. It’s like a wee shelf there and it’s kind of out of sight where it is, so dirt and moisture just sits there I had to cut some of the inner wing away just to get to it from below. If I had to do it again, I would have the outer and inner wing off.
