Water in the roof lining ! Disco TD5

Hi,
I have Disco TD5.. I know this is quite a common problem and I just need to be pointed in the right direction as to how to rectify it.
But, when it rains I have water in the roof lining , as my driveway is on a slope it is collecting in the front section behind the windscreen in each corner - more so on the drivers side & when it is heavy rain then it's running inside the lining down the A & B Pillars, ending up soaking the carpet .
I have also noticed that when you put the front windows up and down they are wet so it's probably getting in the doors as well !! Any advice as to possible remedies (sensible ones only) would be appreciated.

I have this problem too, but I don't have a sunroof.

There will always be water in your doors after it rains. They will always let some water in, and that is why there are drain holes in the bottom of them.

I also have the same fault with no sunroofs. Have noticed cracks inside the roof gutters. This could be my problem, can anyone advise me in what to use to seal the gutters?
Would appreciate any advice to solve my problem.
