Hi All
My wife's '05 F1 has developed a water drip which emanates from a flexible pipe which emerges out of the soundproofing in the r/n/s of the engine bay and ends 6" below just hanging in mid air (is this the water drain from the shelf area beneath the windscreen [technical term]). It's the sort of drip that surprises you before you realise it's just the aircon draining off...but she never has the aircon on. Therefore my only conclusion is that it's washer fluid leaking from a pipe conection somewhere. The washers still work fine and don't run out overly quickly, which is a surprise given how big the puddle gets after parking up after a short drive.
I'm afraid that I haven't plucked up courage to pull all the plastic away above that shelf area yet, instead I'm preferring to ask first whether anyone had experienced the same?
Thanks
H
PS. Am I the only one who struggles to search this forum. Some days it's fine, but for the past few days I'm just getting an error message.

It'll be the air con evaporator condensate dripping out. If the heater diverter knob is pointing to either of the 2 windscreen positions, the AC comes on automatically. ;)

Not that sunroof drain you were saying about the other day?

Mind you it doesn't sound like its raining in the UK at the mo :)
