I need to warn everyone about tarantula 4x4 dangerously made cranked trailing arms

Yesterday i was driving along the road on my barracks (luckily only doing 5mph) when my back axle started to crab and i lost control of my disco. With the use of a bush i stopped quite quick and got out to find this (see attached pics)

The yellow that you can see is the very little weld that was holding the arm and the thread together. i measured it (after chipping back filler that had been used to hide the weld in the first place) and there is only just 3mm of weld at the thickest and a min of 1 mm.

Now considering his website says he is a qualified welder/fabricator he doesn't seem to know how much weld should be on a fairly major structural part. All of the welding is of shocking quality!

PLEASE DO NOT BUY FROM THIS MAN, LAST NIGHT I WAS ON MY WAY HOME WHEN THIS HAPPENED, 10 MINS FROM GOING ONTO A MOTORWAY!!!

Mods can you make this a sticky please, maybe it could save someones life

cheers, steve

Dunno about anyone else but that break looks rusty, did you buy them new and did you fit them yourself?
