Hi

I've not been a member here for long, but I wonder if someone can help?

I've got a 2000 'W' reg P38 2.5 DHSE; I had the battery changed last week, and despite my warnings, the company concerned didn't connect a second battery to maintain a 'continuity' whilst the main battery was changed.
Hey-ho, and I couldn't get into the car!

I contacted Land Rover at Chesterfield (very helpful) who supplied me with the key lockout code, which I duly entered via the drivers door lock.

I was then able to get in and start the car, but upon switching the ignition on, I get a load of warning signals coming up, including 'sunroof not set', 'LH Front window not set, etc etc.

I haven't got a workshop manual or cd, but I surmise that this is something to do with the windows etc being set that they 'know' their open/closed positions.

Can anyone please advise on how to clear the fault messages?

hi rtz,

Welcome to the forum.
Easy enough to do, just go through each window in turn winding down, hold the down button for few secs at the bottom (window fully open) and rock back to the up position in one movement and hold until the window is all the way back up (closed). You should get "window set" message.
Welcome to the forum btw! :)
The sunroof sets from the top of partially open afaik.

Cycle each window in turn fully down fully up, keep finger on button for a couple of seconds when window is shut. That will set windows. Open sun roof to all positions then close to all positions then to rear tip that will set sunroof.

Hi,

These pages from manual should help (hopefully images attached - not done this before)

Thanks guys!
Really apprecate the help - a bit different to a forum I was a member of for a certain manufacturer, who were all a bit sniffy to say the least.
I'm sure that there will be countless tings I'll ask, nd hopefully contribute to!
Thanks again
Andy
