Okay thank you, its an intermittent fault does not always occur got any ideas as to how to put it right? does not seem to affect performance but very annoying!!

Actually the 3 amigos does have an effect on vehicle performance, in that once they have been triggered the ABS then runs in a stand-by mode. Your brakes will work well enough on ordinary dry roads, but if you find yourself needing the anti-locking system, it won't be there.
There are a number of reasons why the 3 amigos can pop up and the only way to decide what's going on and how to repair the system is as @neilly has already said, "Get it on Diagnostics. Nanocom/ hawkeye."

The wisdom in that short statement must have drained the memory bank, hopefully, when recharged there will be more information from you that will be useful to the OP.

As said before the straight and easy way to find the fault is by using a tester for codes eventually live data... though if this is very hard to achieve the ABS system can be diagnosed the hard way too which implies measurements with multimeter and some contorsionism to reach the ECU plugs...if that's what you want and you have RAVE i can give you some hints

With the 3 Amigos on our Disco 2 you have 3 options:
1) Live with it and sometimes it sorts itself out but most often it'll rear it's ugly heads again.
2) Clear the electrical fault with a diagnostic tester until it rears it's ugly heads again.
3) Complete the Option B maintenance fix on the ABS module to sort it out. https://landroverclubvi.weebly.com/abs-mod.html

How would that help if the fault is not SVS related though?

Sure an SVS fault could be the problem for the 3 amigos but often it's not. From what I've experienced and from others is that the ABS module circuit was the main culprit.

When i said "SVS related" i meant the fault which is cured by the ''option B" wiring mod so as long as the fault code is not SVS related "option B" will not help that was my point
