this morning my p38 diesel lost power for about 10 seconds and the light to the right hand side of the heater plugs flashed on(orange) it did it again for 2 seconds any ideas????????????????

ps used the car this aft and was fine?

Usually caused by a sensor fault number four injector signal fluctuation maybe. Check and clean if required the connections to it and to the FIP.
 
dont mean a great deal to me mate sorry, is it serious? how much would it cost to fix? will it get worse? is it common?
 
like i said i could read it all day and does not make any sense so if somebody could answer my earlier question would be appreciated?

Unless they have a crystal ball nobody can give you a difinative answer just guesses. Have the fault codes read, the fault that caused the light to come on will be logged in the system. That's about as sensible as it gets.
