Hi Guys

& thank you admin for allieingbme to join

My question please ... I'm in thr process of removing my ace and converting to non ace

I've sourced pre owned Disco 3 sway bars front and rear and purchased new all the poly D bushes and decent quality drop links ready to do the job

I understand I will need a new aux belt for when I remove the ace pump and enabling me replace with a shorter belt

DOES ANY ONE KNOW THE PART NUMBER OF THE AUX BELT I WILL NEED PLEASE ?

Also can any one please confirm that I've purchased the correct parts and compatible for the conversion?

Many thanks again ....

Why do you want to remove the ace?
Severely rusted pipe work , leaky block suspect front anti sway bar failure ,
Whilst all of the above can be repaired the cost to do so out weighs the value as its simply a work horse used for towing a trailer and horse box
I've fortunately sourced non ace sway bars and a bush kit for less then a third of of the price of the ace parts and so that can keep the bus working
Decision based simply on economics.

Hi konrad, I am in the process of doing exactly what you have done with Disco 3 sway bars. Could you please tell me which drop links you used for the front?

As a side note plse don’t forget that ur insurance will have to be informed as ur altering a factory fitted item

Plus not sure if u will get any dashboard warnings

If your ace pump was in good order and off a petrol I would have bought it as a spare so you could recoup some of the costs of conversion. You will also need to adjust the ccf file in your car to non ace or the dash will light up light an Xmas tree and won't pass its mot.
If you need any more advice on parts just ask

Hi, I have all of the parts except suitable front drop links. Just not sure what spec would be required to suit the D3 bar and RRS top arm. The TDV8 Ace pump, valve block and front ARB are all in good working order...
