saw plenty of it round his last time i was there, must have been collecting it ready for the dash. just to be on the safe side am taking all me 75 rolls of wire with me so if need be i can just make a centre section up to tie in with our front and rear jobbies (hes only gone and used those bloody idiotic scocthlocks to wire up the towbar on his bm, so i think that may be first job in morning)

Yes that engages or disengages the actual PTO unit which is bolted to the transfer box.Thanks for the explanation.
When I bought it the fella said that if I didn't want it he knew a man that did and would knock a load of money off the price. Mi mate said to keep the winch as I could always sell it later miself. There is a nob under the drivers seat near the handbrake that links to the gear box. is that something to do with it as well? It kind off pulls out to 2 lengths 1 half way then out fully. Thanks
