Most folk seem to report Bilsteins are too harsh (Henry excepted), but probably depends on the kind of conditions you are going to drive. My Monroe's work well, gas filled, black. I definitely wdn't describe them as harsh (tho my reference for harsh is a Defender, using TF shocks)

But they're cable tied with a bag over their heads, off to be lost in EppingI have Arrnot gen2s and Monroe adventurea shock seams fine to me and no one has complained in the back.
