Waiting for HUE166

In June last year I subscribed to Land Rover Monthly magazine, mainly because I had started to buy it monthly anyway and there would be a cost saving having it delivered, However, part of the deal was the offer of a free model of HUE166 which for me was the decider. My first copy of the magazine arrived arrived in July and they have been arriving monthly since then. But no sign of HUE166, even after 28 days that they said it could take. I phoned the subscription department after a couple of months and they assured me that it would be sent soon. So I waited. Still no sign of it after another couple of months, so I sent an E-mail.
Once again I was told it would be sent soon. I'm still waiting for it and not really expecting to see it at all.
Has anyone else had this experience and is still waiting for Huey ? Or are you waiting for another of the subscription gifts from Land Rover Monthly ?

Dunno about the model buddy, but I find all the Landy mags a right bore.

I used to really enjoy LRM but found all the advertising very annoying i did count the ads verses text and if i remember it was around 30% ads so stopped buying it

Know what you mean, there's a lot in them that I don't read but I'm looking out to buy a galvanised 300Tdi at the moment and they appear in the mags every now and then.

I think I prefer LRO International on balance, but am still buying both at the moment.... Advert count is a put-off, but then every so often there will be something I need in one of them.

Yes, I buy LRO International as well. I cut out the workshop articles from both mags that relate to my type of Defender and keep them in clear plastic sleeves in a big ring binder. I use it as a reference aid in addition to my workshop manual as it often gives more detailed views that are better than the workshop manual.

I like that, good idea!
