the fittings are a bit cheap looking, my local hydrauic hose mfr can supply 1/8th bsp metal fittings (90* swivel same as in the listing but metal rather than plastic) which is the axle breather size for a £6 each and can do all the nylon hose too any colour (i dunt have a price for the hose) not sure what size the wading plug thread is but i would recon they would have them in stock
i wouldnt waste my money personnally but everyone will have there own views
i just keep on top of regular axle oil changes, and i do a lot of deep water, seems to work for me
if they are a requirement for water why arnt they fitted as standard?
wading plugs are suplied as standard the manual says fit them before wading, also the standard recomended wading depth for a defender is 50cm which is lower than the standard hight of the normal breathers
Untitled Document i got mine from here. But they sell on ebay too. Get them Extended if you are gonna go in water!!!!Replacing my diff has just cost me £200 because the ep 90 was emulsified.(before i put the brethers on). Also i the kit i got wading plugs (you need 2 for a tdi).

I thought so even though everyone on here says make your own.Theres a bloke on the rangie section who took his to a main stealer to put his existing breathers back on!So i dont feel so bad now buying a kit.Took me about an hour includin lifting the car etc.
