Thanks that is what I needed to knowNo wading plugs for a TD5. But there should be a plug in the bellhousing. Replace it.
Replace the breathers. Run to a 4 - 1 manifold and a larger bore up the snorkel
Front axle
Rear axle
Tx box
Gearbox
Fuel tank - rear passenger sidearch above the xmember - extend into the rear light cluster cover.
Snorkel - imo remove ALL the LR pipe work and replace with at least 300mm pipe work direct to the airbox.
Pull the airbox out and seal all the holes with silicone. Youll need a bottle cap to seal the duck bill drain. While youre there remove the impeller/water separator. Google "Td5 airbox mod"
Spray the crank sensor with a load of WD40 before wading. Water can kill them which is very annoying.
im such a klutz. didnt see the td5 in the TITLEWhat defender do you have? there are different holes on different axles/models etc
