Failed ticket today because of the yellow ABS light deciding to perform again.

Nanocom doesn't show any faults.

Gently tapping the sensors worked for a while yesterday but not today.

The Nanocom guide says that diagnostics turns off at 2 Km/h

So, my thinking is that I will have to trace the fault using the live readings.

At this slowest creep speed, will the live data show which sensor is doing me crust in?

Ta in advance to those who know and can advise.
 
Don't know I'm afraid. If you can get 4 x Axle stands you could presumably look at live data at slightly higher RPM/speeds?
I wonder why Wabco-C doesn't tell you which corner is the culprit?
Mine's a 2000MY with Wabco-D and it dobbed my failed sensor in immediately.
Hope someone can help with this.
 
Have you checked that the brake light switch is set correctly as this can pop up an abs fault.

No, but that is interesting because I cleared a fault on it not long ago. Probably wrong but I don't think that it was in the Wabco test section of the Nanocom.

Push peddle down twist switch 1/4 turn remove pull out plunger hold peddle down re fit and let peddle up job done.
worked on mine every now and again it would flash up fault on dash, not done it for about 5 years now the switch has 2 contacts for make and brake.

Slowly please. I've got to locate the bugger first! Is your current switch a replacement part?

WATER TEMP = 74
OCCURRANCE = 7
 
Brake switch is on a bracket behind the pedal. Get your head down there and squint up and you'll see it. They're pretty cheap to replace. If you have the Nanocom then you should see it in the EDC switches menu. Check inputs and you should see the primary and secondary brake switch over as you press the pedal. They should be mutually exclusive.
 
Yes it is a replacement part as it was only about a tenner , you will probably have to take the cover out that goes above your feet to get at the switch.
