Saw it parked up but something was not right.

So had a closer look.

No opening vents.
High dashboard with those vents.
The bonnet. But they do get retro fitted.

So was not a W reg originally, but a newer one.

I said to my wife a genuine W reg would be much nicer.

I once did a simlar thing with s nearly new van, don't want customers knowing I had a new van

Or could be new parts to an older vehicle, doesn't mean the rest of the vehicle isn't original. BTW didn't some of the latter NAS specs not have the opening vents?

Vents were not there at all not even just sealed, just indented.

You ought to be careful snooping about people's Landies. I had mine broken into a few months ago and so I'm very suspicious of anyone I see snooping about. The cops caught the little toerag that stole my stuff and I've just had a letter from the court saying they've given him a curfew and £145 costs! I lost about 600 quids worth of stuff yet I get nothing and the little **** is walking free to do it again. My point is that it might be dangerous snooping about if the owner is at the same level of ****ed offness that I currently am.

If they'd awarded you £600 you wouldn't have seen any of it, my sister got her door mirror kicked off, caught on CCTV , identified, prosecuted, found guilty, fined and ordered to pay compensation.

She never got a penny, last time she contacted the court about it they said he'd moved and they didn't know where he was, the solicitor got some new wheels for his Porsche though

Maybe I'm too out of touch but I always believed that the miscreant had to pay back what he stole?? Sounds like the laws an ASS:confused:

Is this why the Torys think it is a good idea to cut the Police force, and reduce law enforcement? If society can not make wrong doing unattractive it is doomed.
