I'm trying to get a new, pattern exhaust for my Vitara (1.6i JLX SE,
3-door, soft-top, 1994 M).

Unfortunately, all the pattern exhausts I can find are for Spanish-built
Vitaras, whereas mine appears to be a Japanese-built one, and the
exhaust is slightly different - it's the same approximate shape, but the
connecting pipes either side of the cat and the main silencer box are
different lengths.

I *really* don't want to have to pay Suzuki prices for a new exhaust.
Can anyone suggest a company that might be apply to supply the correct
exhaust?

Well, that could be a plan, but GBP230 is still more than I was really
wanting to pay - if I had a Spanish-made one, I could get a pattern
exhaust for ~GBP75, including delivery.

(In fact, I *did* get a pattern exhaust for ~GBP75 - this is how I know
that Japanese-built Vitaras have a different exhaust to Spanish-built.)

I'm near Newcastle upon Tyne - any recommendations for exhaust builders
in the North-East of England?

I know, and it was appreciated. Really. :)

I'd already spotted that exhaust, and asked the seller (in fact, I'd
previously communicated with that company directly), but they only know
about the parts to fit the Spanish-built Vitaras. :-(
