viscous fan

I haven't read the whole thing as it was getting a little out of subject. But to answer the initial question. I received my 32 mm wrench last week to remove the fan during cold weather. Very simple. Put the wrench on the 32 mm viscous nut and give a good sharp hit on the wrench (clockwise) with a rubber mallet. I am not sure if there was locktight on the bolt or nut but it came off on the second hit. I don't think you could dammage the water pump by undoing the viscous fan bolt this way. Hopefully the DEF will warmup faster now.

Although with no belt, the fan pulley will just spin as you hit the spanner... :doh:
