So could be to do with the ABS. How old is the brake fluid?
I've owned the vehicle for a couple of years. So can't say. A recent clutch slave, swap over showed some darker fluid coming through so it's going to get changed.
I've bought a used brake master cylinder, module etc and going to change the whole lot.
Just need the time to do it.

Before potentially making things worse by fitting a used master cylinder that may or may not be OK, do a full flush and bleed of the brake system. Brake fluid is hygroscopic causing rust in the modulator and as the water content expands with heat it can cause brakes to drag. You must follow the procedure in RAVE to the letter. Brake fluid should be changed regularly.
