Violent shake on tickover

New here so hello O/

Ive put a disco 200tdi into my 90 on the lt77.
All is fine, pulls great does 78mph too.

Idle is nice and steady, but whole engine shakes violently side to side.

New gearbox mounts fitted, and good 90turbo front engine mounts. still shakes. If you increase idle speed still shakes, but obviously the whole car vibrates less then.

Anyone any suggestions?
thought about injestors, but decided prob not them.

injestors? must be a new kind of injector.

Although all the mounts are new are they all done up properly?

I've got a 90 with 200tdi on LT77 and was getting a bad shake, it was the viscus fan assembly out of balance, which also wrecked the water pump so threw it away and put a kenlow in.

Does it huff like a steam engine if you take the oil filler cap off while its idling ?

You mean like Ivor The Engine or Thomas the tank engine?

Yep., all my nuts are tight (wife says so too)

wondering if an injector is a bit crappy only at idle?
Also wondering if flywheel could be out of balance?

nah, no smoke, and runs real good, slight white smoke exhaust on start up for about 6 seconds
