Oh yeah, has a limited life of 5 years but then I cant see an amateur paint job lasting far beyond that!
As you say, maybe more worth while on a newer motor or something that is already tidy and could be protected.
although my amateur paint job costs £70 a pop so at £1200 I could do a new paint job every year for 15 years..... and still be quids in
nowhere near perfect but a cheap option for theaverage 'amateur'
cheers steve
lol.. thx .. believe me in my 23 years in the army I have never been taught to spray... so definitely amateur... however I do use very nasty tekaloid (if proper term) paint that dries very nicely and everytime I use it I feel incredibly happy lol
not bad for a roller.

That's a great finish!!!
What are those arches? They look nice!
If be of the same mind. Better to spend a hundred quid maybe every two years and have it mint rather than lots of scratches on a grands worth of wrapping paper
As for matt black... Yeah, it can be a pain to keep clean but matt black paint is so cheap and easy, you'd nearly just paint it again rather than trying to clean it properly each time you want it all shiny
Perfect for the new expensive stuff that would be drastically reduced in value by a respray.
A local place to me carbon wrapped the roof on my old evo, they was doing a full wrap on a x5 at the time price was 1100 notes. Would of thought landy would be a little cheaper to do, not as many curves.
Anyone tried that spray on rubbery matt paint, that peels off?
ok,just had an email back from a car wrapping company in manchester area.they want £1600 for vynil wrapping my disco 2.they want the disco for 4 days as well.
Dunno about Matt black in sunny hot weather. I guess it's wraps that many lorry have to promote their contents. I suppose the freelander boys will be wanting pictures of defender wraps on theirs to make them look like proper landys
