ah ok that's a good idea, the brackets to the chassis bolts are looking rather ragged so maybe it wouldn't be a bad idea to whip them off and refurbish the brackets whilst I'm at it.

hah livestock? its only some ducks :p

Well as the CSW not very well I have resigned myself to winter in this one, so today I ...

fitted new front smart car seats (a pair I got the other week) in a different way to how I normally do it. Now the seat bases are removable and I can get access to the battery or tool compartment really easily :) well chuffed! it also made installing them a complete breeze. About 10 minutes a side!

I also finally wired up the front spotlights to the high beam with a boltonbits wiring harness thingy.

I fixed various bits of damage to the footwells so all the holes are sealed up and then fitted camping matting to them. Notably quiter and warmer too.

well judging by the price of those a frame brackets i aint going to be buying any new ones! so i will have to refurb the one thats on there. Anyone happen to know what bolts are required to re attach it to the chassis so i can make sure i have some in. I want to get the job done in a day and i dont foresee the bolts coming out without being hacked to death.

They're all M10. Four at M10 x 45mm and two at M10 x 55mm. Big bolts are 3/4" UNF x 4-1/2". Make sure you use proper high tensile (8.8 grade) stuff.

The two longer M10s go at the rear of the vehicle, but all will be clear when it comes apart.

ta but we have decided to sell it. Ive got too many projects and I much prefer my 110csw.

also the p38 is going, and a mazda bongo!

I'm sick of paying out so much for fuel so ive gone and bought a boring hatchback to commute in.
