I hand painted the chassis on the l/h side. But got bored of doing that. So sprayed the right. So much better! Gets into all the little nooks and crannies better.
Mrs vil has decided she wants it as a soft top after looking at a few. So the roofs coming off as well.
surely an ideal opportunity for mrs Vil to learn to weld show her the side you've completed and say " 'ere, copy that"New fuel tank arrived yesterday, i fitted the hoses and fuel sender last night so will be fitting it tomorrow when i get back from work.
R/h side chassis is all sorted and painted, both tubular outriggers replaced. Started work on the l/h back quarter chassis and found pretty much the same issues as there were on the r/h. So plenty more welding to do. (urgh getting bored of welding now i assure you!) At least the weather has turned so i can lie on the ground without getting soaked through.
All front lights are on now and working, rear lights to be replaced by more led sealed units this weekend.
Hoping (fingers crossed) to get it moveable this weekend.
nah, because im crap at welding
I want to go on a proper welding course but can never find anywhere local.
