Vibration through steering wheel...

Me too. Passenger seat shakes like hell between 50 - 70mph...not that the wife minds ;). No vibration through the steering wheel though? Getting front tyres replaced & all wheels balanced tomorrow so will see if that improves things.

I have speed related ' seat shake' and a general shuddering through vehicle...was present when fitted with 20" Stormers/spigot rings and still present with balanced 18" Hurricanes fitted /no spigot rings. Any ideas as to cause?

Wheel balance (even though they have been balanced) steering damper, drag link ends, track rod, tyre pressures, bushes, swivels, UJ's, VCU etc etc
Do a search, been covered hundreds of times.

They were, I have them and they do not have spigot rings, which is why I said "if for P38"

Blimey, you learn something new every day. So there are two different hub sizes on Hurricanes? Any idea how to identify the right ones? All 5 of mine seem to require rings. You certainly notice vibration if one is missing (stupid tyre fitters).

Wasn't there a l322 variant of hurricanes, that aren't the same as p38 hurricanes, still a 5 x double spoke

Edit: like these on eBay 321006299556

I know the L322 'late-type' Hurricanes require spigots as per those in Kooky Guy's RR pic ..but mine are earlier type as per P38/Disco2 Hurricane rims same as those in DataTek's RR Pic... Must get micrometer out and check hub circumference diameter and wheel hub bore diameter... will let ya know outcome...
