vibration noise at speed

Don't know if anyone else has had this problem, at about 70mph there is a vibrating/buzzing noise which sounds like it is coming from some where around the windscreen it gets louder the faster you go. I thought it was coming from the roof guttering so I put some tape on there and in made no difference, I did the same for the top centre of the screen, again it was still there.

Is it some sort of saftey device that stops you going above 70mph

Hi
The vibration noise you have is the black trim strip along the bottom of the windscreen, the only way to stop it is to replace the trim, but you can check it by putting a strip of tape along the trim to window to stop the air getting behind it.

Sorry i don`t know how much they are yet, but i have got to find out cos i have the same problem. I think there are some clips that hold it on so it would probably be wise to change them too.
