That was probably me said that. I refurbed a VCU but had a horrible vibration between 40 and 60 after refitting. Thankfully BEFORE starting the refurb I had noticed when the VCU was on the bench the damper that it was off centre by several mm. I should have marked the position but stupidly didn't so when I found it vibrating I kinda knew what the issue was. Unbolting the damper and rotating it fixed the issue.I read somewhere on here about that VCU damper causing a vibration if it's been recently refitted. Possibly try unbolting it and rotating it 1/4 turn then re attach it...
Is it possible for a prop' shaft assembly to become unbalanced?
Could the VCU support bearings being out of alignment cause a vibration?
