oh and just befor i go let me ask you something wot do you think to this when driveing slow i get the sound of a wheel bearing. sounds just like it but im 100% its not the bearing the faster i go the more it shuts up and when on the motoway nothing at all iv had all the wheels up in the air and rocked and kicked each wheel and all as tight as a nuns tw.t i changed the front disks and pads all round so could still bee the rear disks but just dont think its that...any chance it would be the porp iv been front to back with a grees gun in all the nips and and changed wot i think are called chells porb not:doh: the part looks like a fat star with only for sides and rounded ends. but still the sound is there wot to do please boss:kiss:tomcat59alan

but this may help him too!. me rangeys being a pig to start on the flat, fine when i'm on a down hill slope. checked the intank pump and it's working, no fuel in the clear line turn the ingnition 4-5 times and wait and the intank pump will finally push the diesel up to the FIP. i've also got an ocassional loss of power, won't rev when going up hill...but not every hill though. take your foot of let the rev go to idle then put your foot down again and he picks up and steams up the hill. so what do you think, FIP needs replacing? worn too much? i think them not being able to calibarate it has caused this. and p.s i'm always nice to you Wammers....you're my sugar daddy!!!

Well your FIP seems to be an unknown quantity since your seal cockup. BUT. Fuel pump only runs at certain times. When you turn ignition on and glow lamp is lit. When you are cranking engine, then when engine is running above 500 rpm. When you turn ignition on and when cranking it is powered by battery. When engine is running it is powered direct from alternator. Try bleeding the system properly for a start it may not have been done correctly by garage. First check that spill pipes are not leaking. And that O rings in either side of fuel filter are sound. As fuel heats up it expands, then when it cools it contracts, if spill pipes are not sound or O rings are duff this contraction cause air to be sucked into system past them. When you are happy with these items. Then undo union from FIP and get someone to cycle glow lamp when you get fuel with no bubbles nip union up. If after that you still get empty clear pipe after a few days. Suspect fuel pump has a split feed pipe or is not running as it should and producing enough flow and pressure. No power on hills sounds like fuel starvation. As if pump is not running and FIP is having to suck fuel from tank. Or this could be because you have air in FIP and line, get rid of it and see what you get. If you have a diesel knock this could be air getting into high pressure pipes, try cracking the injectors with engine running to bleed it off.

Yeah just so. Possibly one holding the rope tied around the others ankles. Rooney is a prick. Why would you pay for it with a granny when you have what he has at home. What a bloody waste. Mind you there's a lot to be said for paying for it as required. The bit i got before my divorce cost me £4,000.00 a month for thirty years. Then £200,000.00 when she ****ed off. There has to be a moral there somewhere.
