What a day i've had- decided that ought to clean out the beast properly........well that was first mistake.... took hours.... ten years of foulness in some corners :puke:

Once it was clean thought I'd have a good look round and make a note of things that need to be done... mistake number 2:mad:

Lot to be said for not looking too closely at stuff and realising the heap of stuff that needs sorting out.... now I'm going to have to sort some of them out - when I can work out what to do with them:confused:

Spent last bit of the sunshine starting to rub the rust off the bumpers, in readiness for painting them, but got bored at that point.....so...instead.....

Took beast to car wash and watched 6 young, and quite dishy, eastern european blokes, in tight T- shirts, wash & polish it - best £8 I spent all day !!!! ;)

Excellent way to spend £8 :D

About once a decade or so I remember I'm meant to check the oil and water in my beast- have got the oil thing all sorted but the water thing is a bit more problematic. Two issues....

My neighbour last week said the water was meant to go in the radiator but i've always put it in the round plastic thing with the screw cap- which is right ?

Secondly.. when you do put the water in, it normally needs loads- I remember that I have to put de icer in but never know how much of it to put in- end up guessing - lots if its cold , not so lots if its not so cold- again does it matter exactly how much ?

Fooooook me! Poor sod who ever buys your landy off you when it comes to selling time! Do you put ice-cream in you diffs? ;)

During my amazing cleaning of the beast this afternoon- saw things ive never seen b4...... who knew there was a jack under the middle seats right at the back ?.... :)

also under the middle seat in the front is a back wire - with coloured wires inside and what looks like a scart lead end at the end of the wires- what is it for and is it meant to be attached to anything ?

Its for the ejector seat...best move it and connect it under the right hand front seat...
