P38A Veggie oil

The picture is the inside of the P38 in tank pump assembly, the black gunk in the bottom is the residue from running unrefined vegetable oil. The second photo is the filter from the bottom of the pump. Not surprising it stopped working!

I do't use veggie oil, it's illegal in France, the pump came out of an abandoned P38 I acquired. I just posted the pics to show what can happen.
I'm very busy these days as my health is better. I answer queries when I'm messaged, but i don't post unless I have something to offer.
A post about a replacement for the boot release button on the P38 will be done soon.
