Guys
I'd like an idea of what my 110 is worth. For those of us bored with the constant stream of similar threads on some of the Defender Facebook groups, I can confirm that my vehicle is 100% not for sale, however I have an option of an agreed value insurance policy which I am about to hopefully take up and I want to approach the insurance company with a sensible figure and I'd appreciate any feedback. And obviously it's an agreed insurance value, not the old (but true) "it's worth whatever someone wants to pay" as I'm not trying to sell it. The vehicle is a bit of a bitsa I guess and I don't know what effect that has on the value.
1986 ex RAF 110SW (am I right in saying the age makes it worth more to the export market?) RHD
Rot free, patch free chassis
OK bulkhead
Straight body panels
200Tdi Disco engine, done properly with Steve Parker inlet & exhaust systems
Ashcroft recon LT77 box
Disco 2 transfer box
Brand new Exmoor interior...vinyl in the back, heated leather in the front plus leather topped cubby box (not pictured)
Tyrex steering wheel, raptor dash, decent stereo, CB, extra gauges etc
5 x unmarked Boost alloys and new Cooper Discoverer STT Pro tyres
Southdown snorkel (not pictured) and a bit of chequerplate here and there
LED headlights (not pictured), Wipac spots and Defender A-bar
Full MOT etc and everything now works as it should
140k on the clock
Thanks in advance
