Hi

I've been looking into replacement headlamps types for the 88/109 and I'm wondering if Valeo globe Cibie 082369 are ok as direct replacements! I believe these are also replacements for old 1970s BL cars such as Allegro, Princess etc.

Thanks

If they take a H4 bulb (I think some list for H1) then they would do the job OK Autopal do plain glass type as well which are suitable and quite cheap HTSH

Holden's sell a range of sealed beam units as bolt in replacements but they're not that cheap - good video on how to do it, too.

......and don't forget, halogen bulbs take more current so you're best off wiring them straight from the battery via a separate fuse and a couple of relays.

re wattage some 110 had 75watt sealed beams OE fitting halogen bulbs should not cause any probs but peak performance would be improved by relaying as previously mentioned
