Hi All,

Is it ok to block off this hose ? I have been having a brake problem recently and suspected servo or vaccuum pump checked the hoses and found this one out of the side of the hose connector which i believe goes to the egr (?) it looked chafed off at the end so i clipped the rough end off and blocked it off with a golf tee and some tape .
The brakes are now working great but is it ok to block off the hose like this permanently ?

i have a blanking thingy where the egr used to be so i'm guessing yeah but want to make sure

Cheers

Yes it should be ok but i would tidy it up a bit maybe add some new black hose and let it hang down out of view, or even send it where it should have been and connect it back to the EGR blank, which ever one you have fitted at the moment.

After market.
