V8i Cruise Control

Hi,

I've just bought a gas coverted V8i which is brilliant!! The only problem is that the cruise control has been disconnected and I'd really like to get it working - is there anything I should look for as a common problem?

check fuses, vac hoses to the diaphram on the accelerator linkage and back to the vac pump ,wirering to the vac pump, sometimes the switches in the steering wheel also break up internally look good from the outside and seem to click as if they are working but dont. does the light on the master switch come on when activated.

I got 95 3.9 disco with cruisethat dosen't work no lights no nothing took to dealer and they said needed all new wiring and junk,,,,,,,,think me live without it now
