I have just bought an unfinished comp truck with a v8 in, my plans were to pull the v8 out and stick a 300tdi in but im being told im making a mistake (i personally disagree) looking around most are using tdis, i will mainly be trialing, play days, green laning, its got 35" fedimas and ashcroft axels (arbs, shafts and cvs) unsure on gearbox/transfer box etc, its a 100" trayback with front and rear 8274 winches just to give an idea on weight..
