You seen the state floppys in cos his wifes V6 bust?
I think tryin squeeze a V8 in would finish him off:D

yer right thou would be wicked project

No chance - mite breeve a bit o' life into the ol' fart!:)

disco 3 balls up me thinks, LR do it all the time, they get the current model sorted and nice then change it, the freelander now is a nice car, most of the old probs have been sorted, then they go change for ****e.

same with disco 2, the last 2003 models are really nice and pretty much trouble free, it amazes me how they aint gone under, people love land rovers and they all know they're crap but still buy 'em, then complain.

2007 rangie will be the same but at least we wont be replacing diffs all the time!

How to inspire us mere mortals with confidence! lol.

Clutchy - will the 2001 chassis take a V8 - I already had it welded once?

Cortina!
Them wer the days;)

When i wer a lad.....erm ..:p

Cortina! - pshaw! modern stuff - gimme a 100E with 3Litre V6, Lotus box, rear axle, Classic/Capri front struts and disks any day. Now THAT was an EASY car to work on. Or maybe a 105E at a push.

OOps - think i showin my age:eek:

I think i might leave well alone then for a year or so,let landrover use someone elses cash for their development work:rolleyes:

The should be some bargains to be had on the current model once the new one shows up ;)
Thanks for yer opinion clutchy (As always)

You never thought of a job in sales then?:D :D :D

3litre V6, bloody heavy old thing, the only use for them is to put a chain on it and chuck it over the side of your boat
