I’m jealous of the finds!! Not the bods or bombs.. think I would scream and run away... did your bucket go “clank” a few times on some unexploded bombs??? Just the Roman stuff!! Did any artifacts fall in your wellies ????
As i will valuate and sell them on the black market for you !!! Erm!!!! Wor Lass will.. she i s the dodgey one and sells the stuff illegal not me.. I report everything to my nearest important person.. anyhoo
are they well kitted out in your little cabin.. CD players and that or are they like defenders inside .. with metal everywear and big on off switches that resemble a 1950s Russian nuclear power station..

It’s brilliant.. don’t even think of having a tab now!! But it’s early days!! I ownely bought it an hour ago

Monotonous indeed.. saying that.. it’s like big boys Lego or Tetris... imagine all them stairs in the sky scraper ones... do they have toilets right up in the tall ones ... or do you just piddle out the window

Oh yeah, bluetooth connectivity, CD player, look at this pic below.

It has a full 360 degree camera system, the full digital display for the machine, and that big box with "ICON" in yellow lettering is the GPS machine control system we have on 80% of our 13 tonne and up diggers (we have a lot of them perhaps 25 now!) it is fantastic, no engineering pins, no level pegs, no spray lines for where to dig, no need for a rotating lazer to get the depths, you have it all on the screen in front of you, brilliant bit of kit, some blokes don't like it but it is the future, saves time and money and means we can get on faster with a higher degree of accuracy.

I will most likely die a smoker, nothing compares to being able to sit back roll a fag and relax with a cuppa.
 
Wow!!! Didn’t realise they were that high tech!! Some blokes probably don’t like it as they are old school.. it’s the same in every trade mate.. but I bet you can get you job done quicker and more accurate than they could with old school methods!! And I bet will be driving themselves next..so you might be unemployed!! Smash the machines!!!!!!! What where those peoples called that didn’t like the industrial reveloution and broke everything??? I would google it... but I would end up on the porn.. anyhoo Only thing missing out of your cab is cable tv.. so you can get babe station on the night shifts ..
Joking aside.. I’ve been off fags for 3 years and only use this little lecky thing about 5 times a day.. my lungs feel 30 years old again...
still not good as I’m only 25 . But I can run to the shops now I couldn’t even run a bath when I was smoking..
Saying that.. if I ever move from this flat above the shops i will struggle!!
But it’s worth a try.. you do actually enjoy it more than rolling a tab and having a cuppa!!!
In fact that was a blatant lie....
I want a tab and a cuppa !!!!!!

Very accurate, when you are digging footings or drainage you have to keep the bucket within the lines of dig, keeps you to within +/- 25mm, it seems as though it should be impossible but the calculations are based on positioning of dipper and boom and the receivers are behind the centre of the slew ring so being off line is exaggerated so to speak so it is easily calculated, the kit costs over £30,000 per machine fitted and calibrated.

No need for cable, I get 20 gig of data on the phone and a subscription to NOW TV so I can watch movies and TV in the cab when I'm not on here or on Twitter. :D:D
 
That is impressive. I’m amazed by tech now.. 25 mm on a machine that size is incredible... and even the price for the set up but when you think 30k isn’t much
How much does it cost a year for a few numpties to measure out , paint lines.. knock in pin.. then pull them all out because they realised they had the plans upside down.. it could pay for itself in 6 month!!

Oh on Twitter , LZ , rolling tabs and having cuppas... are you sure they don’t drive themselves as it seams your busy with doing everything else apart from work lol ..

I will pay top dollar for artifacts or even info on where to go.. even old rubbish tips with olld bottles!!! errm she will pay top dollar I’m mean... I’m just a collector.. she’s the ruthless one!!
 
I am going to a job in Portsmouth after the one I'm on now, I am told that I will be bulking out an old rubbish tip that is at one corner of the site, if I find anything interesting I'll give ya a shout, Portsmouth being an historic port, there should be some bottles and bits for sure I'd say.

Fab !! Really appreciate it..If you don’t mind I’m actually a collector and love the history behind anything!! I’ve never sold anything I’ve found or been given. If you actually pick up and old object that’s been buried for a few hundred years I’m sure it might get to you too!! So don’t pick them up!!! As I don’t want you pinching me bottles !!
