I have posted this in the defender section, but thought might be useful in here, and hand around longer.
Drivers side bulkhead by the brake pedal box, white sticker saying 1.30, this is now the emmission std for the 200, if the sticker is not present (wink) then they have to test it as the old smoke level which is 3.00.

Was this just for Defenders or was it applicable to Discoveries too?

I have never seen this sticker on any of the 200Tdi Disco's I've worked on (and there have been a few!!!).

Do you know if that vehicle had an EGR valve fitted? I know that the manifold is cast for the fitment but it was only on export models as far as I am aware.

Ive owned a few 200/300 dicsos but was so long ago havent a clue about the sticker, I didnt mention discos as theres got to be so few left?

No egr on this car a 93 model
200 with egr were as you say very rare
Very first disco 300 didnt have egr either then within 6 mths to a year it was std fit.

Of course I am assuming this is the original bulkhead, you never know might be off a later car?

My tdi 300 1997 Defender has a sticker with 1.68 on it and passed recently at 1.2. Does anyone with a 1997 Defender have a photo of the unmodified EGR fittings in place? I was told it had been removed but it seems to be intact, may be blanked.
