If it's a doozie it don't need power to run. If ignition switch plug is removed it should be ok. Possibly remove starter relay - Lhs side footwell ?
Remove connector from back of ignition switch.
Run wire from battery to fuel cut off switch and bump it?
Evening. Just got message from MHM.
I can help in the morning, on call tonight and can't venture over.
If you want me it's best to text me so get the number of one of the LZIR admin boys.
there's not enough info.
check the wire from the pos bat to the starter motor.. has that melted and shorted against something? if so, use a jump cable as a temp fix.
if that isn't the case, wait until daylight. remove the pos bat term. run a thin guage wire from the pos bat to the fuel solenoid.
bump it and drive home.. being very careful as you have no lights for anything.
or if you can't bump, jump leads from pos bat to starter and short the small spade against the big lug.. it'll spark and make sure it's not in gear. also, make sure the short isn't futher up else you'll melt the jump leads.. you'll tell as they'll get hot.
It starts with no keys in the ignition ! When I hold the fuse in but make a grinding
Noise while ticking over .
I'm not an expert, but couldn't you just put the fuse in so it starts, then disconnect the starter motor?
