due to some pikeys stealing my keys yesterday and thinking i would leave it for them to collect later, i have to get a new steering lock assembly.
after smashing the old one off (which took some bloody work and i could only do it because one of the shear bolts hadnt sheared so i could undo it and lever on the other side) i now have no steering lock. but need one urgently
(i have no spare key and it was a tight lock so no other keys would turn it)
my question is this.. it is a series 3 petrol column lock and barrel. and the only ones i can find are between £80 and £150
but i have found this one for £25 which looks the same but the discription is a bit poor and only says its for military series 3 and defender. i know that my series 3 has a defender switch on the back of the lock assembly.
is this the right one? cheers.
