Uprating/Re-fitting Freelander Suspension

Springcoil.Co.UK have come back to me today (not the guys down the road at coilspring) and have come up with a plan that I'm going to look in to. They've asked if I can provide standard springs for them to test and suggested some people to talk to so we can all get a better idea of the uprated requirements.

One I had hoped to hear from was extreme4x4 as they state that they sell upgrade springs for freelanders, but no reply to my two emails.

Will update once I have worked out a spec and they've given a cost. Will also be fitting new shocks at the same timel so will be plenty of pictures!

Had a couple of good conversations today off the back of this. It's likely to be a few weeks before I have some springs to work with but looking very promising. Probably won't be any updates for 4 weeks or so but will be sure to post back here once I have something to fit.

did you manage to find out the spring length and rate? Did any of the other comanys come back to you?

Nobody else has come back to me. I'm now working with a supplier and a manufacturer to get the info needed . if all goes well, there could be uprated springs available through the retailer/supplier in the next couple of months.
