L322 Upper steering column replacement.

I have to replace the upper steering column as the tilt function is u/s, a casting has broken leaving me with a floppy steering wheel ( with a little fiddling i can get it to lock in position before driving). Although I won't be doing the work myself ( I have a mobile mechanic coming out ) what has to be removed inside the car to gain access to the column ?
Any info would be much appreciated.
