Hi ya'll, may as well be a cowboy as LAND ROVER Dealership seem to be pro's at it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Some off you may recall we hve a 94 disco which lost power and was juddering in all gears. We took her to dealers for Diagnostic and had a new transfer box on her, no change but £400 light, then they said fuel lift pump, another £45 no change, now disalutioned with dealer have found a 1 man band he said fuel injection pump, it WAS ISNT THAT FUNNY DIAGNOSISE OVER THE PHONE DONE CORRECTLY!!!!!!!!!!!
There was 2 oil seals in timing belt housing that had given way due to incorrect torque at replacement and water in fuel inj pump due to bow wavingthrough 4 ft of water for a laugh!!!!!!!!! so now clean fuel tank, all pipes flushed through, new filter 3rd one! ,lift pump WITH CORRECT SPACER, recon fuel injection pump and new injectors, replace oil seals, new belt, oil, labour and vat £755, very reasonable i think although kick in doo daas. i will post his details on here for you guys in bucks, berks ,west london.
Now back to driving the beast.
This must be what you guys love i didnt know anything about these a year ago now i'm totally compismentis about Discos.

seems to be par for the course ie keep away from main dealers ive got a landrover dealer by me that can and willingly does source parts just tell him/her your disco troubles and they stop you buying the wrong part and advise on the part to buy eg 300tdi g/box transponder dealer:£80:00 my man 32:50
