Sorting out the wiring for the RWW, cigar-lighter socket and clock in the centre dash panel.

Whilst there I found this multi-connector which is not attached to anything.

Any ideas? I can't find it in my wiring diagram.

AFAIK:

2x Purple direct feed from batt to accs.

1x White is ign or starter solenoid

2x Green fused accs via ign - ix green loops back on itself?

2x Green/white direction indicators???

Doesn't make sense to me

Cheers.

I think that's just for connecting accessories - additional gauges, radio and the like. Pretty sure my 1985 90" has one too. Older radios sometimes needed both switched and permanent live, and even a feed from the lighting circuit so the little display lit up when you turned the lights on. This is pre LED display times.

Plenty of unused plugs on my 1990 ninety, One size fits all loom I recon. Diesel, petrol, V8, RHD, LHD and whatever extras wanted in different country's.

Thanks all. That makes sense, one loom for all models, take what's needed.
At least I know where some fused live/switched live connections are for accessories for radio, CDL, alarm.

I Have just the same block in my 1986, I'll probs end up sticking bullets into the end of it if I need power.
From the jumble of cables that appear out my dash:
Red / White trace - Sidelights
Red / Orange - Sidelights
White - Switched +
Purple - V+
Black - Gnd
Green - Switched +
Black / Red - V+
? White / Orange - Switched+ ?

I also have some other cables that have no power or ground, so god knows what they're for

Thanks @wharris
This is what I found today with my probe. So a handy power source for radios, CDL etc. other than splicing new wires in. I did wonder if it's a radio connector for a factory fit radio - switched live for on, perm Iive for memory, electric aerial etc?
