Dear forum folk,
The lock on my 2006 D90 stopped letting the key in and only worked through the central locking, so I bought a set of 3 door lock barrels with a separate starter barrel to match them all to one key.
The product in the internet shop was called "DEF TD5 / PUMA 2002 ONWARDS IGNITION BARREL+ 3 MATCHING LOCKS" under the code LR052050. It was the exact set like below:
As the name of the product says "TD5/PUMA 2002 onward" and my truck is from 2006, I thought it's the right set. Imagine my surprise when we took the barrel out, we discovered it was smaller than those currently installed (the above one is the old one):
My current key looks like this and it's metal part is of the same length as on the new one:
Is this a mistake on my side or did they send me the wrong set? Hope someone can explain this to me
