nope as jai said 24 spline and 10 are the same ratio unless series,you would definately know if they were it would be undriveable

I'm worrying and I'm putting 4.75 and 4.7 diffs together in an offroader. 3.54 and 4.7 will be so noticable you will never get to 30 mph before you give up because it would be so horrendus

you can also prove what diff ratio is by jacking one front wheel up only and marking tyre and prop 1.7 turns of prop would give 1 turn of wheel for 3.54 diff 2.3 turns of prop for one of wheel for 4.7 diff

Well the diff is out and I have a spare 24 spline diff and shafts so I'm going to upgrade anyway. If this don't cure it I don't have a clue what to do.

have you tried running on one prop at a time

I'm confused?!

And I've only ran it without the front prop and it drives perfect.

so you know its an issue with front axle ,prop or output of t//box if you count diff pinion teeth you can tell ratio 10 is 4.7 13 is 3.54

Well I've changed the prop. Ill be fitting new diff and shafts tomorrow and give the hubs a check over. If still no cure I suppose ill have to look it the transfer box.

were the new prop yokes aligned properly ,you see a few new ones that arent

Id fit same diff as you got on back on the front mate, there fighting against eachother and see how you go let me kno how u get on

1o or 24 spline has nothing to do with ratio they share the same crown wheel and pinions

I will post my progress tomorrow.

Transfer box ratio is diffrent

The ratio's are the same unless some fookwit fitted a 4.7 from a series motor in which case you will not get faster than 10mph before realising its driving like a Pile o ****e.

and your centre diff will be going billio which its not designed to do.

transfer box ratio on Def is usually 1.4:1 or 1.66:1 whereas disco's are 1.2:1 higher high range low range is the same

Fixed it! 24 spline diff has cured the problem. The ratio is NOT the same by a 1/4 turn.
