Uk based - shipping/sorts out all travel logistics/wizard - agent

Does anyone know of any companies/agents in the UK that can organise outbound and return shipping to foreign countries - as in they will handle the shipping companies and organise an agent in the arrival destination that will clear the vehicle through customs and ideally, have the vehicle in storage ready for collection. Basically someone to do all the logistics hard work for me.

I'm not even sure if such a person/company exists.

I'm just have such a fooking nightmare trying to get my landy to India, I'm contemplating handing over everything to someone who has the necessary contacts.

Yeh I did, it's quite hard to find someone that will do it all. This is partly off the back of a frustrating day trying to make some progress on the logistics. If I could find a reliable (ahem) agent in Mumbai to unload it everything would be golden....that's proving tricky

Speak to a company called Davies Turner in Bristol. The company deals with sea and air freight but I think it's Bristol that would deal with your enquiry. They are probably one of the most established shipping companies in this country. We do an awful lot of importing and use them for all of it, I know they also do a lot of exporting. I wouldn't say they are the cheapest but the service and back up its brilliant and I would certainly trust them with my pride and joy to ship it half way round the world. There are many companies out there that are probably cheaper but I wouldn't trust them to ship a wheel barrow.
