UJ change

should i replace the propshaft rubber at the same time ?

been underneath the car and there is no play on the UJs at all the front prop shaft ypu can turn 1/8th of a turn either way the rear shaft is pretty solid waht does that mean lol

Even with no play your ujs can still be goosed, my disco was making a metallic/clicking noise which I traced back to dry uj bearings. there was no play in the prop when checked and once filled with grease there is no noise but still going to do them on friday as they are cheap enough to replace. I got 2 GKN front ujs and rear donut for £35.

You can change the rear donut while youre under there but mine is only getting done because it is showing signs of wear.

will grease them first if that stops the noise i'll replace them
