I am lookig to buy some tyres/wheels for my bobcat. The slicks on it are useless in sticky mud (ie, my garden). Digging the top slime off to get to more solid subsoil
stops the sinking, but not the slippiness. I could cover the whole area in 100tonnes crushed brick for 400 quid ...... SHMBO does not agree

Does anoybody know of an on-line retailer that can sell wheels and tyres ?
I reckon I should go for tractor tyres, with the Huge "V" in them, the bobcat dealers want to sell me what they call "floats" (500 quid upwards for the set). My max
speed is 6MPH. Max weight (loaded) 2000KG (500 per wheel)

Price is important, I am thinking of getting off-road wheels / tyres from a scrapie ....... None of the wheels steer, its a skid-steer, so as long as the clear the body
work it should work ?

Any thoughts would be most useful, especially from people who are experienced in driving in mud.

Thanks
Rick - sliding in the mud.
