yes offset rims or spacers .. I had a similar problem when I fitted 285 tyres about 9 years ago ,,I fitted 30mm spacers and never had a problem since .. adjusting stops are ok but this does reduce your turning circle, ( a short term solution) lots of ideas offered on this thread.only you can decide which suits yourself...Theoretically spacers put extra load on the bearings but as i say I never had any issues for the last nine years, and the extra track does give a slight advantage on standard rutted lanes (as with offsets)
