Due a new set of tyres very soon and search results show nothing recent.
Currently running Pirelli scorpion 275/40 R20. Anyone got a better option before I part with £640 of my hard earned cash please?

One thread I saw suggested train wheels but they have the wrong stud pattern :D

I'm running Goodyear Efficientgrip. No complaints so far :)

I'm running on 255/55/R19 General Grabber AT3. I haven't used any other tyre so cant do a comparison.
I don't do much motorway driving but when I do, they are comfortable and not noisy enough for me to hear while cruising.
Not used off road yet but that will happen soon as the harvest begins.:)

Coming in at £200 each, and wet performance not as good as my current tyres. But thanks for the info.

Ok.
Run Pirelli scorpion's on the P38 beast.
Run Goodyear Ultra grip for winter & pothole reasons:) on the L322 but they are 19s.
Run Continental Cross contact for summer/long distance (involving good roads) on the L322 they are 20s, being 50 section our potholes can kill them pretty quick.

No issues with any regarding noise. Get good grip from the Goodyears in the winter.
I must admit I have liked the continental tyres for a long time, Had then on my Quattro, RX, and on my Zed.

Conti's and Avon's were the prefered on the bikes years ago.

Avon still seems to have the edge regarding advertised performance and price.

The Pirellis work really well on my 322.

Better than the rubbish that it came fitted with.

But I am running std sizes. 255 50 20s.

Cheers

Must admit i've not had any issues with my Pirellis but up to now the Avons are looking favourite on both performance and price.
